@jackyan This (or one of them) came out to tour Australia back when the movies were out and I got up close and personal with it. Got to touch it and really examine it. and it is as intimidating as it looks on the screen! Truly the best Batmobile ever, for me. It is a beast, an outrageous beast.

Shocked and disappointed that the description of the 1966 BatCycle does not include one of the most unique and key features of the sidecar: it was detachable on-the-fly and separately operable as a go-kart by Robin! It came in handy to effect a pincer move on the bad guys.

@serichards I saw a Herbie movie as a little kid and that was it, wanted a Beetle ever since! Mine is in a million pieces but one day he'll be back on the road, looking beautiful!
Slightly disappointed that The Petersen goes along with a claim of a 200HP Bug going 138mph.

I'm an engineer I can't help myself, and I've done Bonneville and El Mirage so have FHE on how hard it is. Just gut reaction 200HP is not enough to do 140 in a bug.
They'll throw the intern under the bus for sure.
