Oooh, I had not imagined that liquid flire gave off nearly that much heat. Does it heat up the bottle it's in, if it's stoppered? Does it give off more heat when exposed to air, and does that use it up?

So how does the liquid fire get "used up" when it's being used to heat air for a balloon? If it's just sitting in its open tank heating the air above it, that doesn't seem more like using it up than having it exposed to air generally. Does Penny have to do more than have it sitting there being warm, and if so, what?

So, umm, what are the demon rules in this 'verse, and how well does Cassie know them? In some genres/'verses, if Peia were fae, she's just done Cassie a favor at her request, and is owed one in return. (And some fae gain power just by interacting with mortals and their wants/dreams.) Demons most often require bargains, but that varies a lot ...

Peia wanted Cassie to talk to her, and to come back, but I don't think she suggested reading specifically. As long as the romances steer clear of demonology, perhaps it's fine? Better than gossip about real people, which Cassie's been carefully avoiding.

Been there, played that NPC. (Not a demon, but not shy about having different ethics than most of the PCs, willing to help when their interests overlapped, and to nudge them in her direction when convenient.)
