Idealistic Pragmatist 
There are soooooo many #NDP signs in #MedicineHat! 🤯 (Including, to our delight, on the lawn and the porch of the place we’re staying in the basement suite of 🥳)
Follow-up: there are probably fewer UCP signs than NDP signs in #MedicineHat, but there are a lot of both. And judging from our walk last night, there are a LOT of direct neighbours in profound and very public disagreement with each other (something you don't see much in YEG these days, so it's really fascinating to this visiting Edmontonian).
This was one of the UCP-voting houses we saw last night: with not only a UCP sign on the lawn, but an old Ralph Klein sign in the window. 😱

@IPEdmonton @Kellyshenanigans Signs too! I was volunteering for Janis Irwin that election and I overheard sign-placers boggling at it. Had to ‘fess up, “Um, those are my people.”

There is one 'we have aguments' house in our 'hood. Amused that going up to our mailbox, the left side of the street is orange and the right has (fewer) blue
EA Cowling@IPEdmonton we walked by a house last night that had one of each (NDP/UCP) in #yeg, which was fascinating because it was a) the only sign of the latter we saw on a lawn and b) a catalyst for the “ok, is this a up/down neighbour situation or a family rift” conversation.

@profecowling I want to know the stories behind the neighbourhoods here in Medicine Hat where almost everyone has a sign but there are a lot of both. Is it causing rifts between longstanding acquaintances? I want the STORIES!!!
