Playing with a possible #layout option. Fun fact #HST or half square triangles are very versatile. Might be one of the most popular blocks in #quilting. These are curved versions of the hst
I got to thinking about bat wings and then remembered I had a bat print. Hard to see in this picture but the black fabric has Mylar shiny pink thread/stripes. #process #quilting

I figured out part of the problem and pulled some of the grey and black pieces into the middle. It’s feeling much more integrated to me now. The flow depends on the color and shade as well as the shapes. #process #quilting

I had this idea that I was just going to slap some big pieces of fabric on the sides and call it done but my stash conspired against me so I made oodles more of those quarter circle blocks. Will figure out how to finish it hopefully this afternoon. #quilting #process #sewing
Have done a little sewing, a little cutting, and a little rearranging. Pretty happy with this. Will make all the corners have horizontal strips. #quilting #layout
Top is done! I could not bring myself to make the strips horizontal on the corners.
