@zombierustpunk It seems like it's no longer fashionable to trash-talk millenials, but every time I read or heard it over the last few years I thought about what they used to say about Gen X.

We were, supposedly, nothing but a bunch of slackers who didn't have any interest in work.

It was sad to see so many people my age fall for the same stupid trick against the next generation.

If the explanation is that this generation is different, you'll have to prove to me that all other potential explanations are invalid.

I once saw a reference to the older generation making fun of a young man for the way he cut his goatee, and wore his toga... Julius Caesar as a young man, before he became a dictator.

This happens in literally all societies in history that aren't in imminent danger of an existential threat. And sometimes, even in ones that are.
