@rowyn So this prince is a summoner and an immigrant to the Underlands. Does he surrender his royalty as part of the process of pledging loyalty to the Dark Ruler? I mean, otherwise if all claimants to the throne perish and he's left, that means technically his kingdom would be in thrall to the Underlands.

@Tuftears Umbral: "If South Pindon thinks a prince is being held against his will in the Underlands, step ZERO should be 'send an envoy to the Dark Ruler of the Underlands and ask for the prince back.' This is not an obscure point of diplomacy. The Underlands are not a lawless realm of pure chaos. Whatever adventurers may think. Rulers ought to know better."
