To "triage" one must also make a judgement as to which person is salvageable and which is less so or not at all. Basic medical stuff.

Eight-year-olds being told to decide who can be saved and who they must leave to die.

I'm going to say this louder-

EIGHT-YEAR-OLDS. BEING. TOLD. TO. DECIDE. WHO. CAN. BE. SAVED. AND. WHO. THEY. MUST. LEAVE. TO. DIE.

When there are real alternatives, this is sickening.

@TonyStark It’s beyond my comprehension. It is so, so heartbreaking watching it. I’m gutted thinking of everyone there living through it and the unimaginable stress and trauma of just trying to keep your children safe day after day. It’s barbaric.

@oldmanmike I went down a rabbithole on Twitter the other day, and the number of vehemently pro-Putin, anti-human rights (LGBTQIA), racist, White-Supremacist accounts on this one thread was shocking. These are scary people, and they were all Trump-MAGA supporters. Most had “Christian” or “God” references in their profiles. Dangerous times.

I honestly believe that Abbott enjoys seeing people die, even more so if he played a part in causing their deaths, as with allowing people to die because connecting with the US power grid would be less profitable for the people who back him in office. @fsinn Until we get sensible gun regulations in place, yes as sick as this may sound. At least those poor kids can safe each other on some level. But make all those republican look into those kids eyes. How such dangerous losers can hold such a handle over all of us is beyond me. All of us who know that our children deserve better need to make a stronger stand and get them out of power.

@fsinn after thinking about this I decided to share the ugly truth. Injuries to children from high powered rifles aren’t survivable in an operating room. They’re trying to tell people the injuries are neat little bullet holes when in reality it’s a body part turned to suet.

The chud favored candidate even won the school district seats by a wide margin. A lot of the races don't have candidates endorsed by the local democratic party or any labor unions (aside from police unions). That included the race for mayor. FWIW, I voted.

@fsinn retired Texas teacher here. My last couple of years we were given a bleed kit in case of a mass shooting. However, the kit was for one person. It’s so ridiculous. It’s the fucking guns. They think putting the Ten Commandments in classrooms will make a difference😂
