"GOP Gov. declares June 'Fidelity Month' in stark Pride Month rebuke

Sarah Huckabee Sanders wants to renew her state’s commitment to 'God, family, community, and country.'

As the country begins to celebrate Pride Month, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) has declared this June 'Fidelity Month' in her state.

The declaration explains that June will be a time to 'encourage renewed dedication' to 'virtue, commitment, responsibility, and shared moral foundations.'

Sanders has signed multiple anti-LGBTQ+ bills into law, including an anti-trans bathroom bill, a bill reclassifying drag performances as adult-oriented entertainment, and another prohibiting classroom instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation before fifth grade."
