Just learned about wonderful facilitation toolsets called Métacartes for provoking thoughtful discussions about the ethical implications of technology.

https://www.metacartes.cc/

The sets of copyleft cards feature topics and questions with various ways to engage with them in group settings. They are currently in French and the project is looking for people who are interested in helping with translations.

@noemu Thanks for sharing! Are you involved in similar work? How did you find out about these toolsets?

As they include games, they're particularly relevant to our team. As it so happens, we're doing lab sessions in both English and French on #Ludopedagogy.

The next one (in French) will be on prototyping games. The third one will be on games as #OERs.

@enkerli I have used resources similar to it for facilitating restorative justice circles without focusing so heavily on tech activism.

Seems like an interesting project. Bookmarked to read later. :)

@noemu Sounds like an effective approach. In fact, there's a potential connection to "Epistemic Justice", especially when it comes to learning contexts.

Do I get it that you can read French?

Just in case this part wasn't clear, the «archipel» idea has to do with a shift in structures of governance.

@enkerli Unfortunately, I only have a very rudimentary understanding of French, and only in reading, slowly learning.

I learned about the project and workshop through the @fsf :

@noemu Ha! Good to know!
And no worries about French knowledge. We’re building our “spheres of agency” beyond linguistic borders.
