Four recent short films from Hong Kong, very arty and heavy with meaning program in a sold out cinema at #Brotfabrik #Berlin.

Longing is reflected through personal relationships in a sexual dance performance, memories and identity of adopted children in the UK and of course those of the street protests in Hong Kong.

On hand to talk was curator Erica Kwok, the director of the first film Heiwa Wong and one of the performers, Wai Lok Chan.

My favorite I think is the last film "B side": Ning reflects on her life, their shared apartment, and the city as a foreign entity after the sudden death of her boyfriend.
