#WonderWoman 35 (1978) - 7/10
#GaryBurghoff (#MASH) guests.
1️⃣ It’s another episode with a strong guest character driving the action. And getting lots of the screentime.
2️⃣ Villains include #PhilipMichaelThomas (#MiamiVice) and #MichaelCole (#TheModSquad). Both good.
3️⃣ The plot is straightforward, but the script (by #AnneCollins) has some lovely touches: Burghoff’s character is a womanizer, the criminal mastermind has bugged the elevator to his penthouse, etc.
4️⃣ Several lines/moments are funny. Burghoff’s character some very witty lines, and Diana constantly adopts a wonderfully wry attitude with the criminals. Even when they (seem to) have the upper hand, she’s clearly impatient with their tiresome antics. It’s great.❤️
5️⃣ #LyndaCarter and #LyleWaggoner share no scenes here. Their characters communicate by telephone. It’s the fifth (and final) appearance for #SaundraSharp as Eve.
6️⃣ None of the action scenes are particularly impressive.
7️⃣ #JaneActman (#ThePaulLyndeShow) will return as a different/better character in season 3.
