How we use our streets is up to us. Let's choose Better Streets!

@betterstreetsnsw - yeah, but in the picture on the right, the bike path (and foot path) should be separated from the bus/car lane by the row of trees. Bike infrastructure must be designed to be safe for riders from 8 to 80 years old.
@betterstreetsnsw the 50 people in the image with the cars is very optimistic. I count 35 cars (including the ones that aren't really on the image). That means that at 15 cars have 2 people in it, which is very unlikely.
@betterstreetsnsw @MichalBryxi What would the best on-bus experience look like? How can they counter the reasons people give for sticking with their cars?
@del @betterstreetsnsw
1) Not just buses, but IMO Swiss public transport is it.
2) Depends on the type of reason given. Each has a different answer. It's IMO possible to be better in most (all?) objective dimensions.
@MichalBryxi @betterstreetsnsw I want to hear how, particularly within the bus itself. Is a radical rethink of the in-bus architecture, layout and experience needed? How could they look in 10 years?
@del @betterstreetsnsw Can't think of anything, from my experience where I live the situation is satisfactory.
In 10 years I'd like to see increased frequency and drastically decreased costs for end users.
