I guess there was a whole nasty racist Thing about Lizzo being in Mandalorian which I totally missed because I quit Twitter, and I’ve honestly never been happier with the decision. Also, she was amazing and I had better see cosplays.

@hacks4pancakes its always weird when something from main-Twitter-stream comes 'round & hits you like a 2x4 because you've ironically decided to remain steadfast to your values.

Also WTF is this thing about Lizzo, it's the first I've heard of it.

@deweyritten if you Google anything, anything about that episode you will get incels and or racism. I’m surprised you haven’t seen, it’s been a bit.
@hacks4pancakes @deweyritten seen far too much criticism about it being a 'woke' episode. Was there an LGBTQ+ message I missed? Don't think so. Did they tackle the challenging "are sentient droid analogous to slaves" topic? Not really, and please don't think too hard about it. Did they focus on Lizzo & Jack Blacks acting/ celebrity cameo and whether it meshes with the Star Wars Universe? No. So what other anti-"Woke" topics are there? It falls back to the now common use of "Woke", wanting to voice vile opinions in a way that is socially acceptable. In this case, objecting to the colour of someone's skin, their gender, and playing someone in a position of power.

@JJTurner
With a side of abuse from the "manosphere" types for having the gall to cast a bigger woman as anything except the butt of a joke.
