Just want to give a big shout-out to Teri Kanefield @Teri_Kanefield.

Teri was one of the first popular political journalists with a big following on Twitter to establish a real presence here. While many others dipped their toes in the Mastodon pond and went back, Teri has continued to grace us with her excellent reporting and analysis.

I joined mastodon after she posted a review with her assessments of other social media. She explained how mastodon wasn’t owned by by a single person or entity and can’t be sold. That sounded ideal to me. I was thrilled when Teri made mastodon her home base!
