I do my backup using Python. 🐍

Specifically, I've been using the Duplicity library to do my daily backup for years and it works very well 📦

Lately, I use Déjà Dup as the UI of Duplicity in Gnome, but you can use it with another UI. 👣

Duplicity backs directories by producing encrypted tar-format volumes and uploading them to a remote or local file server.
