LCD screens are super addictive (as is the software design built on top of them).
E-Ink does a much better job of letting you go on with (or back to) the rest of your life. It's not backlit, it updates once per second, it's mostly useful as passive information displays (think Kindles).
Now that the unit price on eInk is available to hobbyists, I'm hopeful that we'll start to see a proliferation of "calm" technologies.
ineiti@ValkyrieKerry I'm not sure you're doing this right. Because mansplaining is about setting things right that others got wrong.
So I cannot just mansplain on command. You should at least give us something to mansplain about. You could have chosen a subject or so. That would make it much better.
