World’s biggest four-day working week trial hailed a ‘major breakthrough’

Results of trial in the UK revealed a significant drop in the rates of stress and illness among staff

@randfish When I was at RescueTime there was a study that we could never quite get off the ground with a customer who wanted to split her staff into equal 4-day/wk and 5-day/wk cohorts and measure their focus and multitasking levels.

Potentially a problematic study design (which is probably why it never happened), but I always really wanted to know what the outcomes would have been.

@randfish but now our infrastructure and economy is based on people being depressed, having burnout, getting fed up and moving job every year. If we were happy then what'd happen to all those recruiters?
@randfish a four-day work week with with no decrease in pay is my dream.

@randfish @rosemary

My company went to a 4 day work week about 4 years ago and it’s life changing.
