When I originally wrote about Hayden Wesneski in October, 2021, he was a Yankeees pitching prospect in search of a rotation slot. 16 months, and one trade to the Cubs later, and he got his rotation slot all right.

Did pretty well with it too.

Another “who?” entry in my pitching pantheon, but Wesneski won’t be unknown for very long. I expect him with the Yankees in late 2022. Who, indeed!

Don’t think ace, but solid rotation arm, and one Cubs fans will enjoy.
