Barnes, 30, made his major league debut with the Twins in 2021 as he appeared in nine games (eight starts). He went 0-3 with a 5.92 ERA across 38 innings. The lefthander has not pitched in the big leagues since, but has spent the last four seasons in the KBO and had a 3.58 ERA in 553 innings. Should he remain a starter with the Cubs, he is buried way down on the depth chart on a very deep Chicago rotation.

Carter Jensen was a beast in Triple-A last season.

Even with catcher being pretty talented & deep entering 2026, I can easily see Jensen putting up Top-10 value at the position as long as he gets enough PT.
