Just curious - any one on here using the Visible app for either Long Covid or MECFS? do the numbers match how you feel?

#LongCovid #MECFS #Visible

@p2173

I use it.
It helps me.
Yes, the numbers match often
I like the way one can choose symptoms, medicaments, etc

@p2173 I use it. The numbers haven't really matched for me either, except for two of the worst days of a crash last week where it told me I was trending worse.

That wasn't very helpful deep into the crash but I'm hoping the data they're collecting will eventually let them predict sooner. Or maybe it can only really work for people who are still able to do daily life? I'm close to bedbound most days anyway so there just may not be much change to "see".

@DisabledPumpkin thanks -appreciate the time you put into this answer. Wish you the best
@p2173 I didn't know about it, I'll check it out!

@p2173 @ahimsa_pdx yes I’m using it. I would say it is accurate in general although I don’t feel great when it says I’m stable and don’t do more usually as I’m quite severe and live a very routine life. I find it useful as it makes me evaluate what I can attempt and I usually accept that more rest is probably necessary!

The HRV is interesting. Mine is very low atm though I don’t feel especially worse, but I am reducing gabapentin so I will see if it follows that pattern.

@p2173 Hi! Yes I do! I find it a bit hit and miss at the moment tbh. Sometimes it’ll tell me to plan a quieter day and be spot on. Whereas today it’s said I’m at my baseline and I’m still not feeling good.
It is still in beta though so I’m sure we can expect improvements. The team behind it seem wonderful and actually invested in our communities. Personally I think it seems worth supporting at the moment anyway 🥰
@amyroseissick hey thanks for sharing your experience - appreciate it
