@DMSCreations Top rank depends on the day, but for example I really love Naomi Novik's Temeraire series, starting with His Majesty's Dragon. The Napoleonic wars with dragons... which could have been an utterly terrible story idea but it absolutely soars; such good delineation of characters, and so engagingly written!

@DMSCreations that and Bujold's Vorkosigan books should keep ya going for at least a year or two.
