Jim Mayer@ATCL That's disgusting, but why is the article calling it "dooring?" "Dooring" happens when inattentive people open the doors of their parked cars into the path of an oncoming cyclist. Dooring is a serious failure of road design and, secondarily, training for car users. It kills people, but it's not purposeful. That video shows a deliberate attack.
@pentastich Yeah, I don’t know if that was the reporter’s misunderstanding or if other people described it to them as dooring, but to me that means something different and accidental.
