This was a fun project.

This collection of hand spun yarn was a breed sampler. I acquired locks from 5 different sheep, combed it myself (for some of these, I also washed it myself) and spun it with my little Turkish spindle and hand distaff.

It was really interesting to see the different textures of the fleece and how that handled differently and produced different results. I learned so much doing this.

#Fiberuary I told you that I'd show you what became of these breed sampler yarns. They became this truly massive triangular shawl/blanket thing.

This is more or less this pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hansel-half-version except that I just kept going until I was out of yarn.

@Alien_Sunset When I completed this, I did wonder if I should have gone all in on the blanketness of it and made it square, full hap style.
