A thing I really miss on here that I got a lot of on the bird site is snarky political commentary on local, Toronto, and provincial issues and events. There's some of that on here, but there are a ton of people I miss. And I'm much less well-informed because of it.

@ramesh3000 I'm on desktop so it might be different on any of the apps, but when I click on a hashtag, at the top right of the column where the results are is a follow icon.

A warning, though, I don't know if there's a way to view all the hashtags you follow (some updates for some servers/instances have this as a new feature, maybe?), so I've only followed a few hashtags so my timeline doesn't get overwhelming.
