But this runs counter the gaslighting that they have the algorithms working to prevent that? ๐๐๐จ
@taylorlorenz Shocking.
Seriously what did any advertisers expect? That "uncensored" Twitter was going to be a place of love and harmony and child- (or human-) friendliness?
I just misread "Founding Fathers" as "Fondling Fathers" and am suddenly reminded that we must have separation of church and state.
(Time for more coffee...)
Twitter became an elderly joke faster than anyone ever saw coming.
@taylorlorenz that's a good sign how tolerant of anything advertisers are. Majority of them I am assuming don't give a damn about the misinformation as long as their ad campaigns are generating engagement and visits to products.
That's the reality. It's sad but that's how it is. Similar to journalists not leaving twitter because that's where the eyeballs are. Only few dare to stand up and stick to their principles.
Someone better at photoshop than I am should start posting pictures of Tate et al. wearing whatever brands are still advertising there. That should help.
I am dead serious that it would be effective. I do not have the means to do it but would collaborate with anyone who can photoshop half-well.
Something like "Andrew Tate tweets ...brought to you by Apple" etc...
"N words Tweets, brought to you by Amazon"
@taylorlorenz As are many tweets from ๐จ๐ฆ Government Departments and people.
And they are also not on Mastodon.
