On Bessie Coleman Birthday we must remember that she risked everything to come to France where she was able to take her pilot license without prejudice for being woman or cause the color of her skin.
Something she would never be able to achieve had she stayed in USA.

@LibrarianRA she died so young, but airplanes were dangerous in those days.
