@Otilia I like the set-up. I presume the book she stole has some spoilerific significance down the line? Is this for a single story or a series? Lastly, is this for a novel or screenplay as there are hints there at a much larger world beyond that of Estera?

Thank you, Ben! Yes, the stolen book is significant to the story.
It's an epic fantasy novel and it is part of a series. The worldbuilding is quite extensive.
I'm currently in the querying trenches with this one and the waiting is killing me so I thought maybe my blurb needs improving.

It really is hard work, but it's a skill that can be improved on. Your favorite writers probably have some yt videos or blogs about wb that might help inspire you.
