@andybaio Very sad to hear this. Not because it wasn’t predictable, but more because it wasn’t all bad and I made many friends on Twitter since I have joined in 2007. It was easy to stay in touch during and after events and it was a good tool for @btconf in Twitter‘s good days. For me it was hard to let go, but with apps like @ivory it feels better and better on Mastodon, I have to say. It was good before, but it makes it really easier for others also to switch.

@andybaio @simon considering it seemed they turned off the MFA or at least broke it/ descaled it / the service so users couldn’t login, and this broke their DAU’s, I doubt there is any influence on the personification of a Meme stock
