Moth@medusaousa My favorite interaction was my oldest. Years ago I was trying to help him with an issue with their mobile phone. Had to ask questions and look at settings to isolate the issue. He wanted an immediate fix and when I didn't have the answer in 30 seconds he said something like 'Wow, for someone who's worked in IT for so long, you don't know much.' 😒

"Mom, why were you such a bitch when I was in high school?"
Me: "Because when you're a teenager you can ruin your life in an hour. You can get pregnant or get someone pregnant, you can get in an accident, you can ruin your academics..."
Daughter thinks about it for a beat, and says: "Okay, that's fair."

@medusaousa Let me assure you, it was quite the journey to arrive at that level of understanding. (That latter half of junior year and senior year of HS took a lot of out me as a parent. But anyway, we survived.)
