@vantablack Fingers crossed!

Only kidding, I only hope they fall down stairs or walk into an open manhole or something.

@vantablack I'm all for **stopping** the prejudice, hatred, and unfair treatment of people based on their gender, romantic preferences, or how they choose to represent themselves, but isn't calling for the death of the ignorant people taking it a little too far?
@VinceAggrippino @vantablack calling for the death of people in power who knowingly and willingly implement policies that result in discrimination, harm and death of a lot of people for their own personal/political gain*

@mayday @vantablack
Your perspective disappoints me. It will stay with me for a long time.

I don't know where you're from, but this perspective is common in the US and I feel it's a prime example of what's gone wrong with my country.

For my part, I'll say that I'll never support any group or individual who calls for harm to another based on their social, political, or religious beliefs. It's wrong and ineffective. It can only result in an endless cycle of revenge.

I'll continue to support understanding, tolerance, and cooperation.

@VinceAggrippino @vantablack so you're ok with supporting already existing violence towards a group of people based on their gender?

You may genuinely think that your perspective is neutral, but it's not.
People are already being denied basic human rights and subjected to violence based on their gender/race/sexuality.

It's an unfortunate reality, but there are *actually existing* laws that take away the bodily autonomy of women and trans people, there is police violence that disproportionately affects people of colour, there are people who are dying because they can't access healthcare, there are people who can't get a job because of discrimination, etc

All these people are being subjected to violence and injustice *right now*. And there are powerful people who perpetrate (and, as one can argue, benefit from) this violence and injustice.

Don't you think that they are entitled to defend themselves and their human rights?

@VinceAggrippino @vantablack it's all well and good to "support understanding, tolerance and cooperation" as long as everyone actually follows these principles.

Unfortunately, this is not the case. Some people would rather do everything to deny certain groups of people the basic right to exist. And these people have no choice but to defend themselves.

Read about the paradox of tolerance, and I hope you'll understand this better

@vantablack and is replaced by a Democrat
Kris Jordan, a Republican who represented Delaware County in the Ohio House, dies at 46

Jordan was in the midst of his third term as state representative for Ohio's 60th District. He previously spent eight years in the Ohio Senate.
