@toxtethogrady @gwensnyder Pretty much all the traditional car manufacturers have gigantic massive EVs like Tesla but with much better QC and less (but still unacceptably high IMO) phone-home/OTA/IOT shit. The only net beneficial EVs will be completely different. Aptera for instance is interesting.

He was a COVID skeptic from day one and got really angry when California made Tesla close some factories for a while. He also says he had a transient reaction to his second booster, which is not uncommon but combined with this mentality could definitely trigger him.
