@dalias @gwensnyder Actually, the idea would be removing Musk from management in favor of someone who is less prone to self-destructive behavior. Then Tesla can thrive, deliver high-quality electric vehicles, and Musk can continue to tank Twitter...
@toxtethogrady @gwensnyder And recover financially by his Tesla shares not going to zero. No thanks. Tesla has never been about "high quality electric vehicles" (and large EVs are not even a societal good).

@toxtethogrady @gwensnyder Pretty much all the traditional car manufacturers have gigantic massive EVs like Tesla but with much better QC and less (but still unacceptably high IMO) phone-home/OTA/IOT shit. The only net beneficial EVs will be completely different. Aptera for instance is interesting.
@toxtethogrady @gwensnyder Need to think outside the US "look how big my SUV is it means I have a big dick you know that right???" mindset. Lots of cool EV stuff in this space. Tiny trucks (from China I think), e-auto-rickshaws in India, etc.
