Sometimes it feels like the world is kicking you over and over again. When we are in a period of time when there is little to celebrate little of anything positive to talk about make sure you take care of your mental and physical health. find solace in the small things. take a long walk sit in a park and clear your head. shut down social media and tell the influencers to shut up. If you are struggling financially don't hesitate to purchase where you can get the best price. you need to look after you because the business who want you to keep spending won't be there to offer any help when your credit card and other bills come in. it's not being selfish it's how you survive until better times arrive, and they will!

I called this photo 'solitude"

I forgot that yesterday, 15th of March was the Ides of March. I won’t say happy Ides of March as that goes against the spirit of the day and certainly what happened to Gaias Julius Caesar. His murder and the beginning of the end of the Roman Republic.

Et tu, Brute?" (And you, Brutus?)

I was going through some photos tonight and found this one of the Swamp Hen
Littleproud buggered the coalition he buggered the then opposition leader and now he’s buggered he is buggering off, and they wonder why One Nation is on the rise, bugger me!
I have added a colour version of today’s walk in the park
A Black & white I. The Park.
A walk in the Park today
A nuthatch posed for me again today.
A Black & White at the Botanic Park.
I genuinely think the worst thing the internet did to reading was convince people that finishing books is a competitive sport. You don't need to read 52 books a year. You just need to read. Books you like. At your own pace. And think about them for longer than a TikTok video.
