The elephant at the grave of Tweetbot 🪦

RIP little robotic bird. End of an era. Let's go @ivory 🐘

Tweetbot. April 2011 - January 2023

An award-winning Twitter Client for iOS.

@viticci @ivory My favorite Twitter client. Now I’m *eager* to try Ivory.
@padawan @viticci @ivory Ivory is so good. Takes all the good of Tweetbot and turns it up to 11. I love it so much and can’t wait to pay the Tapbots guys for it.
@viticci @ivory It's like some asshole going into your favorite bar with a sledgehammer and then lighting the place on fire.
@viticci @ivory hope this icon’s available in Ivory!
@trystan @viticci @ivory it currently is in the latest test build and hope it makes it to the 1.0 release.
@viticci @ivory Wait, you have your safari search bar at the bottom??
@Waustin @viticci @ivory yes, same here, and everyone I know using an iPhone. You don’t know how to configure it that way?
@viticci @ivory 😭 I’ll miss #Tweetbot . Thank you @tapbots for these wonderful years together ❤️ and now, let’s go #Ivory
@viticci @ivory So sad to see. This picture is so perfect in many ways.
@viticci @ivory
It should be : The mastodont at the grave of Tweetbot . ❤️
@viticci @ivory Elmo Sunk grows more random every day.

@viticci @ivory Will definitely miss Tweetbot; it was the only thing that kept my Twitter experience relatively sane. (And I’m sure the same can said about the other well- loved 3rd party Twitter apps).

Can’t wait to see where @paul and @mark will take @ivory. What I’ve seen so far is very good and former Tweetbot users will feel very much at home with it.

@viticci What a sad end to Tweetbot. Always loved the little bird. It was my favorite app and I am looking forward to @ivory
@viticci @ivory
Very soon it could be R.I.P. Twitter.
@viticci @ivory Tweetbot was awesome, and like so many others I am all over ivory now 😀
@viticci @ivory Extremely apt …the Elephant will not forget.
@viticci @ivory That image is gutting. Well done @mark
@viticci @ivory I do hope there is a class action lawsuit by all the devs of Twitter clients. There was no need to kick them off the API, not like this! Handled super poorly.
@viticci @ivory Count me in as one of the mourners
@viticci @ivory Still feels like a missed opportunity not calling the new client Tootbot.
@viticci @ivory It seems that the last third party option is now dead to. Spring started to display an error message...
