View of Mount Jefferson while standing on the Timberline Trail on Mount Hood. I took this photo in September 2022 while backpacking the Timberline Trail.

@andrewbriscoe Love the soft colors! The color changes remind me of a prism breaking light.
@andrewbriscoe What a view! The mountain range in the distance looks like a water color painting.
@gxgyang Thank you! I realized it was the sun coming up because the picture was taken at 6:30 am.
@andrewbriscoe Very beautiful natural landscape. Thank you very much.
@cherepin Thank you! Your photos are great as well!
@andrewbriscoe That’s so beautiful and soothing that I want to live right there. Thanks for sharing this.
@KolokokoBird Thank you! I want to go back so bad. It’s iffy this year because it’s unclear when or if the snow will melt at 6,000 feet.
@andrewbriscoe a feast for the eyes and the soul!

@andrewbriscoe
Great shot!
I love that whole region.

I don't know if you're a Tolkien fan, but for me, it's like The Lonely Mountain leapt off the page.

@BreakingImpossible Thank you! Last year was my first time hiking the Timberline Trail and exploring the Jefferson Wilderness. Both places are amazing, I teared up looking up at Mount Jefferson from Jefferson Park! I plan to do both again this summer plus I have a permit to do the Three Sisters Loop in September.
Wow, stunning!!
@capturelight Thank you! It was amazing. 😍

@andrewbriscoe @grisish

This is so beautiful 😊 absolutely love the layers of pastel colours ❤️

@andrewbriscoe Beautiful shot. I love the off-center composition, with the dip in the tree line lined up with the distant mountain peak. And of of course the lovely colors.
@andrewbriscoe I had just a few sunny hours when I hiked it last year...I'm jealous of that view!
@alt_Allie Oh no! I missed it last year. How was it other than the clouds?
@andrewbriscoe it was fantastic, lots of snow, no people...it was a highlight of my year
