DeSantis proposes policy permanently #banning #Covid-19 #vaccine and #mask #requirements and other pandemic mitigation measures in #Florida

The proposal would permanently prohibit Covid-19 vaccine passports in Florida, prohibit #schools from instituting Covid-19 vaccine or mask requirements, forbid #businesses in the state from requiring masks and bar "#employers from hiring or firing based on mRNA jabs."

@SherBeareth By the 60s we practically eradicated polio. Now polio cases are rising again because we've allowed the anti-vaxxers a seat at the table alongside the world's best immunologists.
Do you think that this happens if the anti-vaxxers are confined to fringe podcasts? No. If society immediately makes all people, and particularly politicians, who espoused such conspiracies persona non-grata then we’d have less Joe Rogan and fewer republicans in power.
