We’re still in a really tough situation and they aren’t all like this, but this at least heartening.
Oh and I wasn't farming for reviews (I'd have no problem doing that, but this wasn't it). Don't think new ones are going to matter soon, but I do appreciate the thought. Save them up for Ivory.
@paul You could literally take pre-orders for ivory right now and make up a huge shortfall from Tweetbot I bet. The app is soooo good. Much love to you guys for all the work to get it out the door.
@Aaron @paul agreed. I would pre-order. Preload that cash-cache!
@paul Can’t wait for Ivory to be released!
@paul I need an export from Tweetbot to Ivory for banned hashtags and words, would pay extra for that😆
@paul hey Paul, long time user of Tweetbot I think as long as I’ve had Twitter (10+) thanks for a great app, the last weeks actions of the space turd has finally nailed the coffin for me. Twitter app is a bin fire. Looking forward to Ivory.
@paul Yes, Ivory isn't finished, and there are a few features I miss, but my only major problem with it is the lack of a Mac implementation yet. It already rocks. Thanks!
@paul Lunch soon? WWDC is coming up 👀
@paul Are you only building for iOS, or for macOS too?
@paul Can Ivory be an in-place update to Tweetbot so subscriptions can carry over as well as your reviews and history?
@paul Just reupped my Tweetbot subscription as a show of solidarity
@paul My subscription will be renewed on 02/15/2023, I'll keep it running just out of thanks and respect for your work🤗🥰👍🏻…hope that's ok😁😉
@paul I left a different rating for Twitter
@paul My review is saved, hopping to use it soon ;-)
@paul Looking forward to use Mastodon with Ivory. Subscription or not, I’ll buy it.
@paul One more vote for "release Ivory"! Tried 5 times to get on a beta and keep missing. tweetbot has been a major reason to stay on iOS
@paul I’ll be leaving one for both. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate how thoughtfully designed and wonderful Tweetbot was to use for the last decade. Incredibly excited for Ivory.
@paul Tweetbot has been my Twitter client since more than a decade. It's always been one of the apps that I've recommended. Absolutely splendid UX! I'm very sad to see the current situation - but on the other hand I'm also very much looking forward towards Ivory!
@paul what is eta release of Ivory?
@paul Tweetbot is not on the Mac App Store anyway?
@paul Paul, will the Mac app launch at the same time? Is there a way I could beta test Ivory Mac? I’m on the iOS beta now and it’s fantastic. But need that Mac syncing from iOS badly.
@paul Tweetbot was what made Twitter usable, and now Ivory seems to be what makes Mastodon usable. Hoping you guys bounce back from this okay.
@paul Thanks for your extraordinary work.

@paul That's amazing. I'm a long-time Tweetbot user/appreciator and I'm sure sad to see it go.

But on a brighter note, I am standing by to give you money for Ivory at the earliest opportunity.

@paul Thanks for doing what you do. I've used Tweetbot for many years on my iOS and macOS devices (and can't stomach using Twitter without them), and I'm looking forward to seeing what you and your team are building next
@paul I left Twitter in November but it didn’t hurt until I received the ‘it’s time to renew Tweetbot’ message in December and I had to say no because I didn’t have a twitter account anymore. I really loved that app - and now I am loving Ivory.

@paul thanks for the reminder to update my review!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Leaving my Tweetbot subscription in place. Love that app so much I’ll pay for it again because you all deserve it.

Can’t wait to pay you for your hard work on Ivory too!

@paul Oh I will absolutely go drop a review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@AccordionBruce @paul Tweetbot 5, Tweetbot 3, and Tweetbot 6!! Nice!!

@paul I was amazed at the bad reviews people were leaving for the different Twitter apps.

It's as if there is a whole group of people who don't understand how things are connected.

Those of us who know, still love your apps.

@paul I was happy subscribing to Tweetbot and I’ll be super happy to subscribe to Ivory 😊
@paul, all of that, and more! Going on a week without Tweetbot made me realize I don’t actually like Twitter; instead, it was the Tweetbot experience. Super excited for Ivory… 🐘
@paul stopped using Twitter - can’t without Tweetbot. Can’t wait for Ivory. Give us a tip option ;)
@paul I’ll join those reviews in saying that Tweetbot was the app that made Twitter usable. The best of all Twitter apps I ever used. I used it for many many years and it was always a pleasure. Love your attention to details. Now can’t wait for Ivory to be released.
@paul Tweetbot WAS Twitter for me. Now that they’ve ripped it away Twitter is dead to me
@paul I’ve been using Tweetbot since December 19, 2012 @ 10:08pm and I have not been on there since Friday evening (except the once or twice a day I check to see if Tweetbot is back 😢). It breaks my heart because I really did enjoy it, and your wonderful app was truly the only reason that made it worthwhile. Can’t wait to try Ivory.
@paul As a long time user (10 years? Version 2? Wow) I can tell you I miss Tweetbot. I miss syncing. Every time I use the crap iOS Twitter app I sigh slowly, and perhaps say things under my breath we won’t repeat here. I look forward to Ivory. Thanks for all of you folks’ hard work these years.
@paul Any chance you’ll open up more TestFlight spots for Ivory?

@paul The hide of Qlon retweeting this today, acting as if everyone being forced to download the Twitter app for mobile access is some sort of endorsement of him. 😡

Excited to support Ivory whenever you can release it (missed out on the Testflight unfortunately, but trust your work enough based on Tweetbot)!

@paul hang in there you and mark are the reason I went into designing interfaces. Grateful for you guys and will always support every project you drop as much as I can.
@paul legit love @ivory - it’s making exploring this new space fun and yet familiar. Will absolutely subscribe.
@paul For me Tweetbot was the BEST way of using Twitter. Since they shut down the 3rd party API's, I have NOT, nor do I intend to use the Twitter app. Its been a week, I have missed a LOT of news and articles that kept me up to date on the World, but I am not opening that Twitter app. Im hoping to find here all the accounts that kept me on the loop, so far still missing a lot.
@paul I’m very happy to pay for this and can’t wait for the impending release. You guys deserve it.
@paul I’ll keep Tweetbot installed in hopes that eventually it can be used again one day. 🤞
@paul Always feels good! So sorry about what's going on. I know you've put so much love into it and having it end like this is so wrong. Can't wait to try Ivory.
@paul it just sucks. I’d been using Tweetbot since whenever the iPad 3 came out, 2011 I think. I also remember your first mastodon client.
@paul Tweetbot was awesome. Long live Ivory! ❤️
@paul you have a Patreon or a kofi account? My subscription is up on April 1. and if you need to pull the plug before that I am gladly supporting you guys directly
@paul i will buy ivory.. thanks for the hard work 👏

@paul @konstantin if now's a good time to bring this up one more time...

Tweetbot was/is as significant as software can be for me. I never had the negative experiences that are now wholly associated with Twitter - it was the core of my whole adult social life.

Tweetbot was (crucially) my primary lens for some 14 years and... if you ever find yourself needing to read more praise (I know the past few months of app store reviews have been trash,) here ya go 1 more time. https://bilge.world/tweetbot-6-ios-review

@paul after switching to Fediverse/Ivory and having to use the twitter App, I realized that my Twitter experience was actually rather a Tweetbot experience. thanks for that.
@rw007 @paul same over here. I still can't use the native app. Each time I give it a try, it's an instant close
