Is nextcloud encrypted in a way the host can't see your files? I know that it is a problem with mastodon. Private conversations are visible by the host.

@jacket @nextcloud That’s a problem for everything that doesn’t have E2E (every social network, Google Drive, and a lot more).

Nextcloud isn’t E2E either!

@thelinuxEXP @jacket @nextcloud As a quick comment in case is worth for anybody if focusing on a cloud file solution, Seafile encrypts the files stored in it plus the sync is designed to be very fast and efficient.

Beyond that, great news the update, I like what I see and I might give it a go (again).
