The #hashtag-only #search on #Mastodon is easily the #weakest #feature. Sorry, but most people don't type like that*, and not being able to search the text of posts is a major barrier to #usability.

@kelson Full-text search is computationally expensive and unfortunately Mastodon/federation is already fairly resource intensive

It is possible for servers to enable on an instance-specific basis, but you need a beefy enough server to handle it
