βɛth@unclepj I shit you not -- the last time I was at the grocery store, it was around $2.50 for half a dozen eggs. Not even a full dozen. I can remember when that same package was less than a dollar. It's a good thing we don't really eat a lot of eggs, otherwise, our grocery bill would be a lot higher.
@feverspell Egg prices are pretty insane. I have a few dozen for sale on eBay atm. Once they sell, I plan to retire.

While this was supposed to show that the South Koreans hated their government, the defector was more impressed that they had so many eggs.
