What would you call Falun Gong? My first impression was Daoist, but it seems they're right wingers. They run the Epoch Times.

I agree in principle, but when they mass mail out the Epoch Times propaganda newspaper, and my family and friends ask what is up with it I still need a label to continue the conversation.
(This has actually happened, and me thinks that you are associated with the group )
Oh, Rio Rancho New Mexico, ay? The same city that had a Falun Gong (Dafa) day in 2007? Coincidence?
I'm not looking to debate, at least in this thread, because the amount of publicly available evidence is voluminous and speaks for itself.
I'm also not criticizing a single one of their beliefs, but only highlighting the cult-like tactics that the organization utilizes.

Would like to know their explanation and readiness for discussion on this and neighbouring thread.
(Would like to ask via the #-FalunGong hashtag but fear it could get hot here.
Since this might be the wrong place(?), i deactivated the hashtag with a special character)
