Well, it happened. We knew it was coming. A prick pulled the plug. And what bothers me most about it is how Space Karen did it. My mom passed away just before Christmas. Her decline was something everyone in the family saw coming and we prepared for her demise. It still hurts like hell, but [β¦]
And now dead again, along with some old unused API keys, which proves that this was intentional and we and others were specifically targeted. I wouldn't have swapped out the keys in the first place if there was even a shred of communication. Figured if nothing else this would push the issue. Oh well, on to smaller but greener pastures.
@johnvoorhees @caseynewton Tapbots swapped their API key in protest. It barely works and will be banned again I expect.
Too late. I spent the last 2 days reconfiguring all my follows between Insta, Reeder, and here, and I'm never going back.

@caseynewton it may be using an API key limited to 300 tweets every fifteen minutes (across its whole user base)
