WotC is all in with a standard corporate newspeak non-apology apology.

They got busted doing something shady and it blew up in their face. So instead of being honest with their csutomers - they issue this deflecting, *we did it because we care so much, don't you care about the children* response. All while committing to continue forward with their plans, and ignoring the core OGL issues the community is furious about. /1

Note they also have been putting these critical communications about the most important issue in D&D over on DDB, instead of the main WotC/Wizards site - probably to minimize it's visibility to the overall brand. /end

@Larryvela I've made mistakes in my work -- nothing to this scale, but even more important to the people it affected.

Fastest way past it? "Wow, I screwed up. Sorry. What do we need to do to fix this?"

Now, in my case it wasn't deliberate action on my part to screw people over, which is what we see here, but the principle remains: honest and sincere admittance of error, sincere apology, make amends.
