I limited myself to New Orleans only once, otherwise it would have been 3 times.
Some others may be mood dependent (and in the height of summer heat I'll dream of more mild climate places).

I don't hate Houston. The category was "dislike". Not to my taste.
From my experience it seemed to have very little of what I like in a city, such as enjoyable walkable mixed use neighborhoods with interesting architecture. Disappointing for a city of such huge size. Long unpleasant auto commutes to get around. Seemed to me a huge conglomeration of mostly generic American suburbia, with relatively little actual city.
