& they immed notified Archives, turned them over & co-op'd w DOJ. What a diff w certain other former official!

Worth noting what former govt officials said since MaL raid: classif docs get mistakenly removed from govt facilities fairly freq'ly. U report it, turn in docs, govt does damage assessmt =end of it. OR..u cover it up, lie abt it repeatedly to govt & force them to raid ur premises to retrieve docs (ie act like sociopth) in which case u can expect criminal charge.

3/ & via Angry Staffer (this is a thread, folks, after 1st toot, each toot is #'d):

Before anyone tries to blow this out of proportion:

No, they shouldn’t have been there but Biden’s team found them, immed turned them over to NARA (next a.m.)

This wasn’t NARA asking for docs & being lied to abt them for mos. Intent= import't part here--Trump willfully concealed nat defense info even tho he knew NARA & DOJ wanted it.

Biden’s team found it, said “oh shit” & immed'ly handed it over to NARA

@GottaLaff

Are you really sure that is how it went down?

@SpaceLifeForm It's not about whether I'm sure of how it went down, I never said how it went down. I tooted the reporting of how it went down.

@GottaLaff

I understand. My questions were rhetorical.

I am not saying you are incorrect.

Just think outside the box on this. The media may be getting trolled, and the Metadata may be rich.

We shall see. Time will tell.

@GottaLaff

Are we really sure this is how it went down?

There may be some trolling happening.

@SpaceLifeForm You already asked, I already answered.
@GottaLaff I feel MUCH better after reading this!
@NanBP Me too. Well said, too.

@GottaLaff @NanBP

It’ll be interesting to see which news outlets report the entire chain of events, and which ones just want to say “Biden did it too!”

@GottaLaff This would be somewhat concerning if Biden had 30 years of ties with Russian mobsters, a proven history of selling US foreign policy to whoever profits his personal business including the Saudis & his campaign chairman worked with a Russian agent while Russia hacked to overthrow a US election in his favor — oh, and if the docs were found stashed in his home after repeated requests he return them.
@junecasagrande I'm not concerned about that stuff, of course. I am concerned about what will be made of it and about who screwed up and the consequences.
@GottaLaff Exactly. Bad actors will try to apples-to-apples these oranges. And their dishonest messaging will stick, just like the Hunter Biden nonsense.

@GottaLaff @junecasagrande
News: "Trump was caught speeding then instead of pulling over he fled at over 100 mph and caused three fatal accidents before crashing into an elementary school, whereupon he was taken under arrest and found to be drunk, and also too? The car turned out to be stolen."

Republicans: "OK, but Biden was pulled over for speeding once, too."

@msbellows More like, Biden once loaned his car to Hunter who got a parking ticket. @junecasagrande
