Canayjun@stammy it would be great to see the fediverse and Mastodon adopt something like Tim Berners-Lee’s PODS (personal online data store) to give users back more control of their data. I’m by far not a tech but it would seem to fit in well with the open and decentralized fediverse model.

@rafa thanks! I was spending the last like 2-3 years of free time on Stocketa app but I kinda want to put that on pause. 🙈 No great APIs for the financial data I need so it ended up being nothing but hacks/scraping/multiple providers on the backend and never felt solid
