I've been at this technology game for a very long time, I could probably almost be a grandfather by now.

First computer: Commodore Vic-20
First modem speed: 300 baud - that's bits per second!
First Windows PC: Gateway 2000 with a Pentium 90 Hz.

CATHOLIC CHURCH: No meat on Fridays
PEOPLE: Ok so no eggs for breakfast
CC: No, eggs are ok
P: But eggs are chicken
CC: Not until they hatch
P: So the thing isn't the thing until it's born?
CC: Correct—um, no, wait.
@rockpapershotgun I guess it’s more common than I though. There’s even an inofficial NASA bot that posts NASA stuff.

Some soy drinker just blocked me because I’m not a fan of the liberal agenda. I hope that not ALL people that are messing around with Mastodon came here because they’re afraid of the big bad wolf and are genuinely curious about the platform, like me. This place feels like a place full of hate to me. Just like Twitter feels like a place full of hate to many people here. Shrug.

I'd love to get an old 12" PowerBook G4 in good condition and use it as a writing machine.
This updater prompt in Arc browser is just a permanent fixture for me. While I'm guessing initially designed as a playful little nudge to update to get new things, it's become super annoying and doesn't give me a hint as to what I'm missing out on by not updating right now. At least let me dismiss it and have some fatigue model to come back at increasingly later intervals. (or at the least don't animate the arrow/heart continuously)
