Another great thread air quality thread from @[email protected]. I would consider this The New Basics. Whereas before a handy person might know how to hang drywall, the basics of plumbing & electrical service, some knowledge of air quality measures really are table stakes at this point.
Why?
Droplet dogma is dead- the idea that most of the pathogens we deal with are spread via droplets has basically been proven to be a mistake that we desperately need to correct. There is no going back to the "normal" of before.

That means if you're the sort of Jill of All Trades Who can confidently grab one of these in the hardware store and explain what it's for- you should be able to do the same with a CO2 meter. If you were used to PVC, at some point you learned PPR- it's no different. New basics.

@heckinteagan @SexyCyborg They are so gross and tacky in some climates. We just replaced one and I had to scrape it forever.
@SexyCyborg By a complete and total coincidence I just learned these things existed this morning because I have a wobbly toilet and I was watching YouTube videos on how to fix it today!
