Tough reality in the Northeast (and everywhere across the #ColdWave zone): If your heating system - #heatpumps, gas or oil - needs electricity to run, you face danger without a generator. Our heat pumps (& Starlink) are working well but only because of @Generac (18 hrs so far).⤵️

I'm grateful we are prosperous enough to afford both. Most in Maine's outage zones can't. This is just a reminder that 1) the #energytransition is not a single step to an #electrifyeverything world. 2) #energyequity - here and globally - is also a distant goal.
