Anoosh JHelp! I was a #LastPass user. Now what do I use? I need a manager that will work for my whole family, because I need to keep tabs on my kids’ PWs, plus Spouse and I need access to each other’s PWs if anything happens to us.
D. Creemer@anoosh There is #1Password , which is well regarded, but potentially could suffer the same kind of attack. It will meet those needs. If you’re in the Apple ecosystem, you can use #iCloud Keychain, though I don’t know about sharing. There’s also Bitwarden, which I hear good things about, but have never used.
@dcreemer I saw a Reddit thread that 1password is end-to-end encrypted, including URLs, making it more secure than LastPass.
@anoosh They do claim e2e encryption, and have published reports on their security, auditing etc. https://support.1password.com/security-assessments/ Unfortunately since they are not an open source product we have to take their word on it (and that of the organizations that have audited them). FWIW I (random dude on the Internet) have used them for years.
